Daniels, DavidState Representative David Daniels returns to the Ohio House of Representatives to complete his fourth term. He represents the 86th House District, which includes Clinton, Highland and Pike counties.

Representative Daniels dedicated many years to his hometown of Greenfield before joining the Legislature. He served four years on Greenfield City Council and was Mayor for eight years. He also served as a Highland County Commissioner for six years. Prior to becoming a state legislator, Representative Daniels and his father managed the Daniels Brothers Farm.

During the 125th and 126th General Assembly, Representative Daniels was awarded the Watchdog of the Treasury Award. He was also named Legislator of the Year by the Ohio Career and Technical Education Association and earned the Friend of OSU Extension designation in 2004.

Representative Daniels graduated from McClain High School and the Laurel Oaks Farm Management Program. He stays active in his community as an Eagle Scout and a member of several organizations such as the Ohio Farm Bureau, the Highland and Clinton County Chambers of Commerce, and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. He lives in Greenfield with his wife Karen. They have four children.
